Water balloon fights, popsicles, camping and pool parties are the coveted summer activities kids suffer and wait for all school year long. Of course, it is easy to be excited when they aren't the ones in the trenches, filling water balloon after water balloon until you swear your little fingers are going to blister if you have to stretch and wrap one more bleeping balloon tail around them. They pop them faster than you can fill them, come running back for more, and then there is the mess of little rubber pieces to pick up from all over the yard.
No more! Mom and Dad, I am here to put an end to your overworked fingers. It is time for you to join in the fun! These water balloons are completely reusable, durable, machine washable and dryer safe. There is no mess. Just fill a bucket with water, submerge each balloon, squeeze them like you would a wash rag and get ready to launch.
Each balloon is a little under 1oz dry and close to 8oz once "full." They can be tossed 3 to 4 times before needing to be "refilled," and they feel similar to being hit with a regular water balloon. We have personally tested them with our five-year-old. They are soft and safe for the whole family, just like tossing a wash rag in the bath tub. Check out our demo videos on YouTube here:
What you receive:
8 Americana balloons- Each balloon is 6" tall and 4" wide
1 blue plastic basin as shown- 8.25" bottom, 12.25" x 9.25" across the top
Balloons are made with 100% polyester yarn that is super soft and completely machine washable and dryer safe. Just toss them in with your regular laundry, no extra fuss.
What should you do with your balloons? Well, besides the run-of-the-mill no holds barred balloon toss, I have compiled a list of some fun, family-friendly lawn games to use your new reusable balloons.
-Water Balloon Target Practice (draw chalk circles on the pavement and toss the balloons)
-Water balloon baseball
-Catch The Water Bombs (use a colander to catch the balloons on your head)
-Duck, Duck, Splash (whoever is chosen as "Goose" gets the water balloon squeezed over their head)
-Fill the Bucket (two teams relay with balloons set up on one end and an empty bucket at the other, first to fill their bucket wins)
-Balloon Catapult (use sheets/towels to catapult balloons at opposing teams)
-Slingshot/Angry Birds (build up some boxes/toys and slingshot the water balloons angry birds style)
-Balloon Toss (set up buckets with point numbers on them, like the traditional ball toss)
-Fill a small plastic mini pool with water and a few sets of balloons and have a free for all!

Absolutely! I love to make something that is just what you are looking for! I have been crocheting non-stop for 8 years, and I am typically confident that I can stitch up the item you are dreaming of. Even if it is just a simple color change, don't be afraid to ask.
Use a loose measuring ribbon. Wrap the ribbon around the widest part of the head, placing the ribbon flat on the forehead and wrapping around above the ears.
The main difference in these sizes is the length. The hats and clothes fit an average age range. Be sure to use the measurement chart in the listing to find the best fit. I typically recommend the 1 to 3 years size for first birthdays to get a longer wear out of the item.
Most of my items can be machine washed and dried with no fear of shrinkage. Any items with specific care instructions beyond this will specifically state it in the listing.
